Strokes Are an Emergency: BE FAST

Did you know that every minute a stroke goes untreated, approximately 1.9 million brain cells die? Strokes require the same urgency as heart attacks, and acting quickly can save lives.

In my own journey, I experienced a stroke caused by carotid webbing—a rare condition affecting the carotid artery. If not for the quick recognition of my symptoms and immediate medical attention, my story might have ended differently.
